So he runs all the way from her front porch down three blocks and left two until he’s at Hannibal’s door. He’s panting when he knocks and he can only barely say hello to Mrs. Lector but she’s just as much his mom as his own mom and she ushers him and fusses and tells him just because he risks his oxygen like this doesn’t mean his mother is going to buy him a car any sooner.
Of course, Hannibal interrupts then coming down the stairs because he could see Will coming from his bedroom window. And Will just says it, all grinning and happy, “I kissed Alana.”
